This year VnC Cocktails will engage in  its yearly ritual at the Triple X Motorsport Porsche GT3 Cup at Christchurch’s Powerbuilt Tools Ruapuna Raceway

The events start from Thursday 27th of November until Sunday 29th of November.

Once upon a time, not very long ago, there was a guy who worked for a successful Vodka brand. They sold their Vodkas all over the world, and the guy did a lot of travelling. He liked his job. And he liked the rewards he got from his frequent flyer programme too.

So like New Zealanders often do, he bit the bullet. He quit his Vodka brand job, grabbed a mate, and together they travelled the world looking for recipes and ideas. After travelling the globe sitting in bars and gathering more ideas, they returned to New Zealand a little hung-over, a bit dehydrated, slightly jet-lagged, but full of ideas and enthusiasm.

And the rest, as they say, is history. VnC Cocktails hit the shelves, and people who were shopping for liquor saw VnC Cocktails and thought “Hmmm. That’s a good idea.” Then when they tasted them they thought “Hmmm. These are delicious”  and they bought some more.

Then VnC grew real big and decided they needed help telling the world about their cocktails..  (in a fun way). Anyway..

At some stage you will form a team of three people (we will be looking for the funest of the fun). Over the summer period you will be taking photos and video footage of yourselves having fun with VnC people and VnC events which you will need to upload to Facebook. Then our VnC fans will vote to see who gets choosen as the VnC Funest of the Fun Brigade. As the Funest of the Fun you will get the opportunity to travel parts of New Zealand and introduce people to yummy VnC Cocktails and see some real cool stuff.

Besides:

2. You get to wear Jandals after work.
3. We are real cool.. so you’ll have heaps of fun.

FHC China 2009, The 13th International Exhibition for the Food, Drink, Hospitality, Foodservice, Bakery and Retail Industries will take place in Shanghai from 18-20 November 2009 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Why a banana goes so well with vodka and lime is another great mystery, but we’ve tried and tested and  tested and  tried and believe us,  it’s a damned fine thing

People who made it difficult to accept that God made everything on Earth in seven days without an instruction manual from IKEA, or a hammer, or anything, believes that human comes from primates. This helps explain why we love bananas so much. It was rather a lucky turns in genetics that we came down from the treetops,  put on some sunglasses, and learnt how to mix bananas with vodka and limes to make the perfect Banana Daiquiri.

Why a banana goes so well with vodka and lime is another great mystery, but we’ve tried and tested and tested and tried and believe us, it’s a damned fine thing. It took us a little longer than seven days to perfect, and we had to work a bit harder than just pointing our finger at all the ingredients, but we bet God wishes he had thought of doing this with a banana.
